When most people think of a USP, in many ways, they think of what it is that they offer that is different, from other people in a given field, which no one else in that field offers.
And in some ways, they are right to think this. However, it comes down to more than just the offers that is different. All in all, a USP, or Unique Selling Proposition is the positioning of the company in regards to it’s market.
What this means, is that while your offer is in it, in some ways, it’s not strictly in reference to the offer. It’s how you see, and can explain what the company does for it’s customers.
There are times when a company doesn’t have any sort of uniqueness in what they do, but rather in how they do it. In that way, it has nothing at all to do with the offer.
For example, if you have a web-site, or company, that offers the same RC cars as every other web-site, perhaps it’s in how you handle the delivery of the product, backed by your insurmountable customer service process, that makes your company different, then your USP might be something like:
“We provide the widest selection of fine RC toys coupled with the most comprehensive, responsive and friendly customer care in the world.”
Just an example here, but I think you get the point. While the company has a lot to offer, note there wasn’t anything about pricing in the USP. There is no “We offer it less expensive” or “We sell great RC cars”, as those would be in their various offers, but rather that they refer to a huge selection coupled with outstanding customer service.
So, it’s about your position. The stand you make. How you do things. These are the most important aspects of a unique selling proposition. And it should be something unique to your business. Something either the market doesn’t see, or doesn’t see often.
So that said, I’m guessing your probably wondering precisely where we, as Nichified.com stand on this issue?
Well, it’s pretty simple.

Note that our offer isn’t really in there. We mention a catch all solution. That is part of, or rather, the shell of our offer. But it’s not our offer.

Hi troops…
As you know, we’re here to provide something of lasting value to those that decide that they need something for their future, and more importantly for the moment… They need something inexpensive, and immediate, for the now.
And that’s what we are all about here. Part of the problem with that though is that there are some common issues that people have with getting started quickly and simply on the net.
There are lots of things to do when you’re attempting to generate an income off the net. A lot of basics to master.
More to the point. There are tons of things to learn. And those things you must learn take time.
And therein is the rub, so to speak. That’s the problem, the roadblock that so many face. You don’t have the time. Even when you do have the time, you don’t really, because that’s more minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months that you’re not earning.
That’s a pretty big problem. Especially if you keep doing things, and you think you’re learning, but you’re learning the wrong things.
The information is outdated, or it never did work. And then you get frustrated… So every time you approach a “solution” for a problem, you’re actually digging a deeper hole to a “problem”.
So how do you overcome this issue?
Well, most effectively, you attempt to find a solution to the problem that is actually going to solve those issues. You find a site, that is home to a mentor, that will guide you by the hand and show you the right things to do.
But again, that gets pretty expensive, and feeds into the problem that you have with starting up in the first place. Money. So, to that end, you need to find a solution that is inexpensive.
Part of the doing it, is the knowledge you need. In general, you need to know html. You are going to eventually need to know (most likely immediately) how to code .css (cascading style sheets) and you’re going to want to start an e-mail list, creating a newsletter. Further, you have to have enough knowledge, or have enough information on hand to make that newsletter useful to your readers and subscribers. To give them good or even great, preferably, content.
But that’s a tall order for most newbies. And it takes so much of our precious time to learn it all, that there’s no room to earn money.

…Or not at all…
Hello fellow entrepreneurs and future successes,
Today on the ESD Blog, I just wanted to bring you all an update…
We’re getting real close to launching the site. The copy is almost done, after shifting directions in getting it all conveying the right message, and on the back end of the site, there was so much work, I’ve been afraid Jim was going to completely lose it.
But we’re almost there. Just waiting for some bug fixes, so that we can be absolutely certain that everyone gets everything that is coming to them and more…
I’m tightening up the sales message. Be prepared, there’s a lot to take in.
In a project of this size, we’d be launched already, if we had had an infusion the likes of which larger marketers utilize to jump-start a venture. But we’re not worried about that.
Part of the goal of this project, is to prove that you don’t need a mass amount of capital to get going and that’s precisely why we’re doing it the way we’re doing it.
When it’s all said and done, there is going to be a completely seamless and professional site ready for our members use.
It’s taken a couple months longer than we had anticipated, but nonetheless, it’s still a year less time than it’s going to take most newbies to begin seeing an income from the net.
And that’s why we’re here. To save you time. You see, we know all the problems that you’re facing. We’re out to solve every single one of them. Put it all under one roof.
This way, you can begin making money. And more and more of it. Then, when you finally are ready, and finally feel confident enough to step out of your comfort zone… We’ll still be there. Ready to help you take your new found success to even greater heights.
So that said, I think my update is finished. To recap, we’re waiting on a couple fixes on the back end. This will ensure everyone gets credit where it’s due.
Secondly, it’s going to make sure it’s seamless. There won’t be any rough edges to get snagged on. We’ve removed those roadblocks, so we don’t want them surfacing inside the membership.
That just wouldn’t do! Do it right, or not at all… Indeed. 
And, the sales page is almost done as well. So hang on tight… We’re about to take you on the ride of your lives!

Hi Friends,
Just had to drop in and write a quick note.
It has been pretty busy around here as of late. Getting everything ready for our launch has been very exciting. When our doors open we will be hitting the ground at full speed ahead.
